How we handle returns.
Our Return Policies
Aileron Labs assigns different return policies to each product. The current and applicable return policy assigned to a product is indicated in the Terms of Sale section of the product page and linked to one of the following policy descriptions. Please review the relevant policies before purchasing. Not all products are returnable.
How to Return a Product
All returns require approval of Aileron Labs and receipt of a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number.
To obtain a RMA number simply contact us and provide the following information in your message:
- Your full name
- The sales order number or the purchase date
- The product serial number (if it serial numbered)
- The reason why you want to return the product.
Standard Return Policy
Returns are accepted from the original purchaser for up to 14 days from the date of sale and are subject to a restocking fee of 20% of the unit price to cover processing and repackaging.
Units must be returned at the customer's expense and arrive at our facility in resellable condition. If the original packaging was damaged to transit to you, you are required to repackage the units in a manner that will prevent damage on the trip back to our facility.
Customers are strongly advised to insure the product(s) for the full purchase price as Aileron Labs is not responsible for any damage to the products incurred outside our facility and any such damage may affect our ability to provide you with a refund.
Electronics Return Policy
Electronic components, kits, or subassemblies designed to be manufactured by the customer are non-returnable and non-refundable.
Custom Order Return Policy
Products that are custom ordered or otherwise manufactured to customer specifications are non-returnable and non-refundable except as provided in the manufacturing contract.
